Michigan Plastic Surgeon Job

A premier cosmetic and reconstructive surgery practice in Northern Michigan is seeking an ambitious plastic surgeon to join its well-established program. The practice was founded over 20 years ago and has built a strong reputation for excellence, outstanding patient reviews, and consistent demand.

Practice Information

The incoming associate will benefit from a thriving patient base, an experienced and supportive staff, and the flexibility to develop their ideal clinical practice within a stable and respected platform.

The main location features a 6,500-square-foot facility with a Quad-A certified operating room and convenient access to one of the busiest surgery centers in the state. Fractional physician ownership in the surgery center will be offered to the successful candidate.

This is an exceptional opportunity to join a growing practice with an established cosmetic waiting list, allowing the new surgeon to quickly build a busy schedule. The senior surgeon is mid-career and committed to expanding services throughout the region while mentoring a motivated physician who is interested in long-term growth and eventual leadership within the practice.

The practice is offering a competitive compensation package that includes a base salary and productivity bonus structure.

Location Highlights

For a plastic surgeon, Northern Michigan offers a rare professional landscape where high-demand specialized care meets an unparalleled quality of life. Centered around hubs like Traverse City, Petoskey, and Marquette, the region serves an affluent, health-conscious demographic and a growing retiree population, creating a robust market for both elective cosmetic procedures and complex reconstructive surgery. Professionally, you’ll find a collaborative medical community often enjoying greater autonomy and less market saturation than in major metropolitan areas.

Beyond the clinic, the “Up North” lifestyle is defined by:

Outdoor Recreation: World-class freshwater coastlines, elite golf courses, and premier skiing are often just minutes from the hospital.

Cultural Richness: A sophisticated food and wine scene, particularly in the Leelanau Peninsula, and renowned events like the National Cherry Festival.

Community: Safe, tight-knit neighborhoods with high-ranking schools and a pace of life that effectively guards against professional burnout.

It is a place where you can build a prestigious practice while spending your evenings on the water, trading the grueling commute of a city for the serene horizon of Lake Michigan.

 How To Apply

Qualified candidates must be board-certified or board-eligible in plastic surgery. Fellowship training is welcome but not required.
