Part-Time Houston Based Plastic Surgeon Position

ESA Medical Resourcs is working with a Houston based client that is seeking a Texas-licensed plastic surgeon for a part-time 1099 locums-style role in an established aesthetic plastic surgery practice with an accredited on-site surgical facility.

 

Board-certified plastic surgeon preferred. Board-eligible candidates will be considered if they have completed accredited plastic surgery training, hold an active Texas medical license, and demonstrate strong aesthetic judgment, professionalism, and interest in cosmetic surgery.

 

Ideal experience level is approximately 2–5 years post-residency or fellowship, although we will consider candidates outside that range if they are an excellent fit.

 

The primary need is aesthetic breast and body surgery. Facial aesthetic experience is a plus, but not required.

 

Desired availability is approximately one week every 4–6 weeks, likely 3–5 days per assignment block depending on patient volume and scheduling.

 

Candidates must already be licensed in Texas. Client is open to Texas-based fly-in candidates from Dallas, Austin, San Antonio, or other Texas markets, but we are not considering out-of-state candidates at this time.

 

This is a 1099 independent contractor position. The candidate should carry appropriate malpractice coverage and provide proof of coverage before beginning work.

 

 

Compensation will include an hourly guarantee plus production-based upside. The specific compensation structure will be discussed with qualified candidates and will be tied to scheduled clinical/surgical time and collected professional revenue personally generated by the candidate.

 

The ideal candidate wants aesthetic private-practice experience without the burden of overhead, staffing, marketing, facility management, or building a practice from scratch.
